Moat & Method
The build itself is the moat.
A platform’s defensibility matters more than its feature count. The connective tissue beneath institutional private credit operations, the IES, rests its competitive position on three reinforcing layers that together create a barrier that is structural, not incidental. The outcomes come first; the methodology and IP that produce them follow.
Layer 1 · Domain Moat
The scarce asset is not access to AI tools.
It is the combination of deep institutional private-credit knowledge with the ability to direct AI tools precisely against operational reality. The Evidence Spine required simultaneous fluency across the disciplines below — the product of decades spent inside the workflows the platform is built to serve.
Layer 2 · Method Moat
The way Enveriti was built is itself a competitive asset.
A persistent, structured, improving development system — not ad hoc prompting. The same multi-model QC discipline used to build the platform is what Patent 2 codifies for institutional AI training generally.
Operational memory
A versioned skill architecture across multiple reference files: coding rules, schema knowledge, platform state, accounting logic, known defect classes with prevention patterns, QC procedures, deployment requirements. Each session begins with continuity, not amnesia.
Agentically orchestrated,
multi-model QC
Architecture, panel coordination, and consensus synthesis are orchestrated agentically across more than ten frontier models in parallel, each specialized to a distinct review dimension. A locally-run open-source 235-billion-parameter model adds overnight forensic audits at zero API cost — surfacing findings that no single-model review ever captures.
Build-as-regression-suite
Every defect surfaced during construction was codified into a guard that prevents the same defect class from recurring. Clients inherit a platform whose architecture has already absorbed every failure mode the build process surfaced — the build itself is the regression suite.
Layer 3 · IP & Architecture Moat
Patent-pending architecture, screened before filing.
Two Track One U.S. patent applications, 60 filed claims across 7 independent claim groups. Each claim was screened for §101 subject-matter eligibility and §103 prior art via independent multi-model review before filing — that is, model review, not USPTO clearance, which awaits examination.
Patent 1
Deterministic Evidence Chain
Track One Prioritized Examination
Invention A. Cryptographic settlement verification with corroboration scoring across independent data sources.
Invention B. FASB 91 / ASC 310-20 EIR computation via Newton-Raphson solver with hash-chain provenance across every step.
Invention C. Persistent facility identifier threading the Evidence Spine, with five-role attestation per material event under PCAOB AS 1105.
Patent 2
AI Governance Layer
Track One Prioritized Examination
Invention A. Multi-dimensional corpus classification surfacing hidden training-coverage gaps under governance.
Invention B. Deterministic coverage replay producing a per-record map of what the model has seen.
Invention C. Multi-signal training oversight with high-specificity stop decisions.
Invention D. Capability-retention monitor — domain expertise without losing general intelligence.
Four architectural propositions
Together they make Enveriti a platform built for private credit from the inside out — not adapted to it from elsewhere.
Persistent identity layer
One identifier per facility, threaded through every layer of the architecture — origination, components, lifecycle events, attestation, settlement, reconciliation, position. Not a CUSIP, ISIN, or LEI lookup; a verifying identifier with attached cryptographic provenance.
Append-only event model
Every lifecycle event recorded immutably. Errors are corrected via compensating entries; original records are never altered. The same principle as double-entry bookkeeping, enforced cryptographically.
Deterministic daily accounting
FASB 91 effective interest rates computed via Newton-Raphson to ≤1e-10 tolerance. Three concurrent books — Expected, Contractual, Legal — derived from one event stream. Sub-penny precision, every day, every facility.
Multi-party attestation surviving off-chain
At least two of five designated roles (Operator, Agent, Administrator, Borrower, Fund Manager) attest each material event with signed hashes. The attestation chain is durable and verifiable independent of any specific ledger or counterparty system.
