Bio
Engineered by a private credit operator.
Mr. O’Neill offers extensive experience with private credit accounting and fund administration, asset valuation, risk management, audit, data analytics, compliance, and SEC oversight — covering the bank, fund, deal, buy, and sell sides of the credit lifecycle.
At Enveriti LLC, Mr. O’Neill founded and built the Institutional Evidence Spine — a ledgerized credit operations platform on a Python/FastAPI, React/TypeScript, and PostgreSQL stack, engineered under a multi-level Agentic AI, multi-LLM panel discipline with deterministic, model-orchestrated review on every change. He is the inventor of record on two U.S. utility patent applications, both filed under Track One Prioritized Examination: No. 19/541,231 covering the Deterministic Settlement Messaging Protocol and multi-layer Evidence Spine architecture; and No. 19/666,213 covering Governed AI Training Methodology and deterministic coverage-replay discipline.
Prior to founding Enveriti, Mr. O’Neill served as COO-Designate for a foundational joint venture at Woodside AI Venture Studios in Palo Alto, where he led venture-studio strategy and product definition for a ledgerized private credit lifecycle platform — origination through servicing, cash, accounting, and audit/reporting — and architected the canonical Facility → Component → Daily Balance accounting model.
For five years prior, Mr. O’Neill was Chief Operating Officer at Boston Portfolio Advisors, a private credit fund accounting, credit, and administrative services firm. He enhanced revenues 79% through bespoke solutions for asset-based lending, fund accounting, servicing, and valuations; led the technology and process transformation that delivered over 180 automations and 4,400 hours per month of efficiency savings for clients; performed ASC 820 valuations of private credit loans across platforms, bespoke assets, and government-backed tax receivables; and reported daily P&L attribution, NAV, and balance sheets including hedges, FX, forwards, and swaps.
Earlier, Mr. O’Neill was a finance and business development executive for U.S. Immigration Fund, spending over four years overseas driving global capital formation for the $2.8 billion AUM company.
For 13+ years prior, Mr. O’Neill was Chief Financial, Operations, and Compliance Officer for Otter Creek Management, the GP and management adviser of two long/short equity hedge funds and three ’40-Act liquid-alt long/short mutual funds. He re-engineered and automated firm operations and spearheaded a five-fold growth in AUM during the Global Financial Crisis — producing positive investor returns in each of 2007, 2008, and 2009 through disciplined hedging and risk management while opportunistically investing across the capital structure into short-duration, cash-secured assets. He managed operations, legal, IT, audit, SEC and tax reporting, and investor due diligence, and acquired ERISA fiduciary and QPAM designations as early as 2003, permitting Otter Creek to manage State pension assets.
